Optimization of electrodeposition time on the properties of Cu2ZnSnS4 thin films for thin film solar cell applications

The Electrochemical deposition was used to create a quaternary CZTS (Cu2ZnSnS4) kesterite thin layer. An aqueous solution of deposit layer over Indium Tin Oxide. effects time (variation) on films under ambient conditions were investigated in this study. Several available characterization systems study the samples as they produced. polycrystalline description is by X-ray diffraction. SEM well AFM show that improved surface morphology and topography which increase several nm grain size. Furthermore, depending upon duration affect thickness crystallinity prepared, optical reveals an acceptable band gap range 1.71–1.42 eV. Characteristics high-quality absorber layers for solar cell applications are determined variation. To check effect variation (1.71–1.42 eV, time) performance based film cell, simulation software SCAPS-1D being used.
